Some Celtic fans are worried by what Timothy Weah posted on Instagram.

Weah, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, wished Celtic all the best ahead of their visit of Kilmarnock today.

Interestingly, the 19-year-old was not ruled out of the game through injury by interim boss Neil Lennon, who has started the youngster just once since taking over from Brendan Rodgers in February.

That has led some Hoops fans to question if he is returning to Paris early.

Here is how they reacted on Instagram:

bex6411: I don’t blame him if he is off, I nva understood why he’s not in the starting 11

bobbymcd67: Weah u going?

catrinapickard: Weah would be a first pick for me every week! He’s got a great attitude despite not playing. I don’t blame him for going back to PSG

aliyaseen_._: Timo airports on shutdown mate ur no going anywhere

nathan.gordon.92: I just don’t understand why Lenny keeps choosing the likes of Sinclair, Hayes, Burke or Johnston before you on the LW, no disrespect to that group of players but you’re far better than them all, hence why you’re at PSG and they’re not.

team.weah30: Timo, don’t do this to us, if I don’t see you there tomorrow, I’m sending a search party out!

celticcommunity: Nice 1, cheers, sons crying

It would appear as if Rodgers’s exit has scuppered any slim chance of him staying at Parkhead for the long term.

Prior to the Leicester City boss leaving, Weah was a big player for Celtic, scoring regularly and, more importantly, playing regularly.

He probably hasn’t left the club, given there’s not much point in terminating the agreement at this stage, but time will tell why he is absent.
