Celtic fans want Victor Wanyama back, amid rumours he could leave Tottenham Hotspur on loan.

Sky Sports claim that Spurs are open to loan offers for the midfielder, and Celtic supporters think Wanyama would be a great addition.

The Kenyan is still very popular at Parkhead from his stand out performances over his previous stint at Celtic.

And there is a growing clamour from Bhoys fans for the defensive midfielder to return.

Celtic are set to have an increase in funds to spend after selling Kieran Tierney to Arsenal, although Wanyama’s wages would likely remain an issue.

If Wanyama was to return to Celtic he would improve Neil Lennon’s midfield options considerably.

The powerful midfielder has struggled to stay fit more recently at Spurs, but on his day he remains a quality player.

Celtic would have until the end of the month to secure a loan deal if they did go for Wanyama, as their transfer deadline doesn’t shut at the same time as the English one.
