Celtic fans are gearing up for what promises to be another special Champions League night at Celtic Park against German champions Bayern Munich on Tuesday – but fans are desperate to see Tom Rogic start.

The Hoops currently sit third in Group B after suffering losses to both Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain, but earned a 3-0 win over Belgian champions Anderlecht to put them in a strong position for European football after Christmas.

However, their chances of achieving a place in the last 16 of the Champions League still remain very much alive if they can beat Anderlecht a second time and earn a result against either Bayern or PSG.

They have the chance to do that on Tuesday night if they can earn three points, against a side that have recently sacked manager Carlo Ancelotti and replaced him with experienced boss Jupp Heynckes for his third spell in charge of Bayern.

But fans believe their side’s best chance of doing that is with Australia international Rogic on the field of play, as the 24-year-old continues to impress despite not starting against Bayern or PSG earlier this season.

Celtic fans took to Twitter in an attempt ton persuade Brendan Rodgers to pick Rogic in his starting eleven, with one fan stating that he “loves the shape of the team” when Rogic starts.
