Celtic face Anderlecht on Tuesday night in an important Champions League clash.

Celtic face Belgian champions Anderlecht on Tuesday night in what is a vital clash for the Hoops’ aim of European football after Christmas – and Hoops fans are desperate to see hat-trick hero Odsonne Edouard start the match.
Brendan Rodgers’ side must avoid defeat by three or more goals against Anderlecht, as they remain three points ahead of Hein Vanhaezebrouck’s side. If Anderlecht can beat Celtic’s 3-0 win in Belgium, then they will progress.
Rodgers could still be without French wonderkid Moussa Dembele, who suffered an injury following a ferocious challenge from Motherwell defender Cedric Kipre in the Betfred Cup Final last month.
If the former Fulham forward fails to return, then Rodgers must choose between either Leigh Griffiths or Edouard to lead the line against Anderlecht.
Edouard, 19, who is known for his strength in the final third as well as his pace, scored three goals on Saturday as Celtic beat Motherwell 5-1 in what was their third successive game against Stephen Robinson’s side.
Now, fans are desperate to see another glimpse of Edouard as they looked to persuade Rodgers to start him against Anderlecht on Tuesday night, with one fan asking “can you drop a man who just scored a hat-trick?”.
