Celtic fans have appealed for Olivier Ntcham to be dropped for their match against Glasgow Rangers at the weekend.

Ntcham has generally impressed since joining Celtic in the summer transfer window, but there is a feeling that the standard of his performances have dipped more recently.

The Bhoys beat Dundee 4-0 last night, but Ntcham’s performance did not earn widespread praise.

And there are many Celtic fans who are hoping that Stuart Armstrong or Callum McGregor are given the nod ahead of the French youth international on Saturday.

Brendan Rodgers’ team choice for his side’s match at Ibrox will be highly intriguing, as there are a number of selection dilemmas for him to ponder.

Celtic have dominated the Old-Firm derby matches since Rodgers took charge, and were unbeaten every time the two Glasgow sides met last term.

If Celtic can beat Rangers at the weekend then they will put an eight point gap between themselves at the Light Blues at this early stage of the campaign.
