Kristoffer Ajer has been handed a new contract by Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic, and the fans want the same for Tom Rogic.

On Monday, Celtic announced on their official website that Kristoffer Ajer has signed a new four-year contract, and fans of the Glasgow giants want the club to hand Tom Rogic a new deal as well.

Ajer has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Norwegian side IK Start.

As announced on the Hoops’ official website, the 20-year-old central defender will now remain at Celtic Park until at least the summer of 2022.

Celtic fans are pleased to see the Norway international centre-back commit his long-term future to the Bhoys, and they now want the club to hand the 25-year-old attacking midfielder Rogic a new contract.

The Australia international joined the Hoops back in 2013 and has a contract with the Scottish Premiership outfit until the summer of 2019, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

According to a report in The World Game SBS in February 2018, Celtic value Rogic at $6 million (£3.33m), with the midfielder claimed by The Daily Star to be earning £15,000 per week as salary.
