Celtic fans have suggested that they want Dani Alves signed, after his release from PSG.

Celtic are looking for a right-back, and there is a clamour around Parkhead for them to make an ambitious move for the Brazilian.

Paying Alves’s wages would surely be an issue for the Bhoys, but there may be some attraction for the 36-year-old to take the move.

Alves would be practically guaranteed first-team football at Celtic, he would still be playing in the Champions League, and he would have the backing of one of the most passionate fan-bases in the world.

And Celtic fans would seemingly welcome the high profile full-back to Glasgow with open arms.

Celtic’s chances of signing Alves are surely fairly minimal in truth, but it clearly hasn’t stopped their supporters from dreaming.

Celtic have endured a quiet transfer window so far, but they are expected to step up their search for new additions in the coming weeks.
