Quite a few Celtic fans aren’t predicting a positive future for Vakoun Issouf Bayo in Glasgow.

The big Ivorian striker had a 25-minute cameo in Saturday’s 6-0 demolition of Ross County at Parkhead.

But Bayo, signed by former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers in January, didn’t do much to warrant coming on for Odsonne Edouard, who scored the Hoops’ second goal yesterday.

The 22-year-old is Neil Lennon’s only other striker right now due to Leigh Griffiths’s injury.

And it looks like Celtic fans weren’t hugely impressed by his showing yesterday. Here’s how they reacted to his performance:

In Bayo’s defence, it’s still very early days.

He barely kicked a ball during the second half of last season after falling injured shortly after joining up with Rodgers in Glasgow.

But this season, he has offered occasional glimpses into his talent, netting three goals in 285 minutes.

Celtic spent £2 million on the towering forward, according to Herald Scotland.
