Celtic earned a 2-1 win over Leipzig in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Celtic earned an excellent 2-1 victory over German Bundesliga side RedBull Leipzig on Thursday night in the Europa League – but fans have taken to Twitter to criticise Scott Sinclair.
Sinclair, 29, remained on the pitch until the 90th minute before being replaced by Kristoffer Ajer as Brendan Rodgers looked to solidify his side’s victory over Leipzig in Group B.
Goals from Kieran Tierney and Odsonne Edouard cancelled out Jean-Kevin Augustin’s header, with Edouard scoring a minute later in the 79th after Augustin had equalised.
Sinclair started on the left flank but proved largely ineffectual as he struggled to get the better of Nordi Mukiele, and then his replacement Diego Demme.

Losing possession numerous times, Sinclair managed no shots, no key passes and touched the ball just 38 times – less than any other Celtic player.
Sinclair, who cost Celtic £3million from Aston Villa in 2016 (The Guardian), was the target of criticism from Celtic fans who were less than impressed with his performance despite the win. One fan claimed he is “absolutely finished”.
