The Hoops striker netted against Nomme Kalju and Parkhead erupted.

Celtic captain Scott Brown has taken to social media to share an image of himself and Leigh Griffiths from Wednesday night’s Champions League qualifier against Nomme Kalju.
The Hoops ran out 5-0 winners over the Estonian side at Parkhead to put them in pole position for the third qualifying round, but the main story from the game was Griffiths triumphantly scoring his first goal since November last year.
The striker, who had a stint away from football due to personal reasons, whipped home a superb free kick to net the dominant Bhoys’ third goal on the stroke of half-time, an effort which prompted an emotional response from the player and the crowd.
Brown posted the image on his Instagram account and subsequently shared it on his Twitter with a light-hearted caption:
Many Celtic fans responded to Broony’s tweet and also celebrated the return of the talented forward:
Kristoffer Ajer and Ryan Christie had put the Celtic 2-0 up and Christie and Callum McGregor completed the scoring after the break to give Neil Lennon’s side a healthy lead going into the second leg in Estonia.
Should the Hoops finish the job, they would then lock horns with either Israeli side Maccabi Tel-Aviv or Cluj of Romania, with the latter earning a 1-0 home win on Wednesday, in the third qualifying round.
