The Hoops are gearing up for their Champions League qualifying campaign as they seek to bring European success to Parkhead this term.

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the news that Marian Shved and Jack Hendry will play no part against Sarajevo in Tuesday night’s Champions League qualifier.
The Hoops new arrival and Ukraine international was in line to make his competitive debut for Neil Lennon’s side against the Bosnia and Herzegovina side but he and Hendry suffered training ground knocks.
Lennon confirmed the bad news in his press conference ahead of the first qualifying round first leg away at the Asim Ferhatovic Hase Stadium, saying the duo did not travel to the Bosnian capital for the game.
Here is how some of the Bhoys faithful reacted to the news on the social media platform:
Celtic also travelled without midfielder Olivier Ntcham, who has been on European Under-21 Championship duty with France, and Scotland left-back Kieran Tierney, who is recovering from a hernia operation.
Sarajevo won their first Bosnian title in four years last season and their fourth overall, as well as also lifting the Bosnian cup to secure a first double in the club’s history (BBC Sport), while Celtic are going into the tie on the back of a historic treble treble.
