The Hoops man hit the ground running for the Parkhead side this season.

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to praise Odsonne Edouard after the Hoops goal machine was named Scottish Premiership Player of the Month for August.
The 21-year-old scored three goals for the Parkhead side last month, including the opening goal in the 2-0 derby win against Rangers at Ibrox on September 1, which is included as the game was originally scheduled for the previous day.
Edouard also scored for Neil Lennon’s side against Sarajevo in the Champions League second qualifying round, in the loss against Cluj in that competition, and in the victory against AIK in the Europa League playoff first leg.
In addition, the youngster, who signed for Celtic on a permanent deal from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, has also scored four goals in two games for the French Under-21s during the international break.
Here is what Celtic said of Edouard, the player’s response on Twitter, and some fan reaction on social media:
Celtic boss Lennon was also recognised for his August exploits as he was named Manager of the Month after the Hoops won all four of their league matches ahead of September’s international break (Sky Sports).
