The Hoops striker enjoyed a debut to remember for France’s Under-21s, leading to much appreciation amongst the Bhoys fanbase.

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Odsonne Edouard’s superb debut for France Under-21s in Thursday night’s friendly in Amiens.
Les Bleuets recorded a resounding 4-0 win over their Albania counterparts as Amine Gouiri opened the scoring on the stroke of half time.
Edouard was named amongst the substitutes but he came off the bench and doubled his side’s lead in the 77th minute.
The Hoops ace then weighed in with a second late on, and Dan-Axel Zagadou added a fourth deep into injury time for Sylvain Ripoll’s side.
Though France are very much blessed in the attacking department, Edouard’s brace is likely to put him in contention for a starting spot for the upcoming Euro Under-21 qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Slovakia next month.
Here is what some of the Bhoys faithful said on social media regarding their player, with Celtic’s own Twitter channel joining in the action:
Edouard signed for Celtic on 31 August 2017 on a season-long loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain and the following summer he joined the Parkhead side permanently for a reported £9million fee (BBC Sport).
The 21-year-old, contracted to Celtic until the summer of 2022, has 38 goals and 17 assists for the Bhoys, according to Transfermarkt.
