The Hoops winger adds the accolade to the PFA Scotland and the Scottish Football Writers’ Association gongs for 2018-19.

Celtic winger James Forrest has picked up his third individual award of the 2018-19 campaign by being voted the Scottish Premiership Player of the Season.
The 27-year-old Scotland international, who has scored 22 goals this season for club and country, adds the accolade to the PFA Scotland and the Scottish Football Writers’ Association prizes he won earlier in the year.
At club level, Forrest has made 55 appearances in all competitions and scored 17 goals (Transfermarkt) to help the Hoops to the Premiership title and Scottish League Cup this season, as well as the final of the Scottish Cup, which takes place this weekend.
For Scotland, meanwhile, the attacking ace – who came through the Parkhead academy – has scored five goals in six games this term, an impressive tally considering the national team’s current in form in recent months.
Here is how some Celtic fans reacted on Twitter after the club posted about Forrest’s latest accolade on their feed:
Celtic, currently managed by Neil Lennon on an interim basis following Brendan Rodgers’ departure earlier this year, can complete an unprecedented treble treble if they beat Hearts in Saturday’s showpiece at Hampden Park.
