The Irish defender came through the ranks at Celtic and was with the Parkhead side until 2012.

Celtic have posted a message wishing former player Darren O’Dea the best in his retirement after the 32-year-old announced that he was hanging up his boots.
In a post on social media, the Irishman – who plied his trade as a defender – said he still felt he had “plenty left in the tank” but that the time was right to change direction.
O’Dea will now be focusing on his coaching career full time, his announcement coming after his club Dundee were relegated from the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
The Republic of Ireland international, who came through the youth ranks at Celtic, also gave a special mention to Hoops legend Tommy Burns, who passed away in 2008.
O’Dea won two Scottish league titles, a Scottish Cup and a League Cup at Parkhead, while also having spells on loan to Reading, Ipswich Town and Leeds United.
The player moved on to Toronto, Metalurh Donetsk, Blackpool and Mumbai City before returning to the Scottish top flight with Dundee in 2016.
