The Hoops and Scotland midfielder, 25, is continuing to earn rave reviews from the club’s fanbase.

Callum McGregor has truly prospered at Celtic since his impressive loan stint at Notts County in 2013-14, going on to become an indispensable player for the reigning Scottish Premiership champions and for the Scotland national team.
Aside from becoming a fan favourite at Parkhead, the 25-year-old is also highly cherished by his peers and manager Brendan Rodgers, who just a week ago told reporters that “it doesn’t matter where he plays, he’s the best player.” (Daily Star)
McGregor put in another focused and hard-working display in Wednesday night’s 2-0 win over Hibernian, a result which saw Celtic go six points clear at the top of the table after 25 league games.
The Hoops then posted an eye-opening statistic about the midfielder on their Twitter account, noting that he has already played 50 games for club and country despite it only being early February – an impressive statistic considering how energetic he was against Hibs.
Some Celtic fans took to Twitter and lavished praise upon McGregor, with many of those already deeming him their player of the season:
McGregor has made 209 appearances for Celtic, scoring 36 goals and registering 40 assists since breaking into the senior ranks in 2013, and during that time he has won four Scottish Premiership titles, two Scottish Cups and three Scottish League Cups (Transfermarkt).
