The Hoops academy graduate impressed for Neil Lennon’s Bhoys as the Parkhead side had their first runout of 2019-20.

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to praise young Hoops ace Armstrong Oko-Flex for his performance in the Scottish Premiership champions’ first pre-season friendly of 2019-20.
Neil Lennon’s charges have been training in Austria and on Wednesday faced SC Pinkafeld in their first run-out, going on to pick up a 6-1 win as the 17-year-old got on the scoresheet late on in the game for his first goal in the green and white.
As well as scoring, Oko-Flex’s overall game was decent, looking calm in possession and getting in good areas in between the midfield and attack, while he was arguably unlucky to be flagged up for a couple of fouls in the opening 45 minutes.
Here is what some Bhoys wrote on the social media platform about the teenage midfielder:
Oko-Flex joined Celtic last summer from Arsenal on a three-year deal, having come through the ranks at the Emirates Stadium, and can operate in a number of attacking positions, whether out wide or through the middle (official club website).
The game also saw Leigh Griffiths return to action, also getting on the scoresheet, while Mikey Johnston netted twice and Ewan Henderson and Jack Aitchison also joined Oko-Flex in finding the back of the net.
