Celtic boss Neil Lennon is thought to be wanting to add a new centre-back to his ranks at Parkhead this summer.

Eric Sviatchenko of Celtic celebrates as Celtic win the Betfred Cup Final between Aberdeen FC and Celtic FC at Hampden Park on November 27, 2016 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Celtic fans have suggested that they want Erik Sviatchenko back, amid rumours he is available for £2 million.

Aksam have reported that the former Celtic man could be set to move to Trabzonspor this summer.

But Celtic fans have urged Neil Lennon to make a move to hijack any potential deal for the centre-back and bring him back to Parkhead.

Celtic are on the look out for a new centre-back this summer, following the departures of Dedryck Boyata and Filip Benkonvic.

Celtic need a player to accompany Kristoffer Ajer in the heart of their defence, and Sviatchenko could present a good option.

During this first spell with Celtic, Sviatchenko made 63 appearances for the Bhoys, before leaving to join FC Midtjylland in 2018.

Celtic have struggled to make additions so far this summer, and are still on the hunt for new signings, as Lennon looks to strengthen his squad for next term.
