Celtic booked their ticket to the next round of the Scottish Cup, but not all of their players impressed at Parkhead.

Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Jozo Simunovic’s performance in the Hoops’ Scottish Cup win over Partick Thistle on Saturday – and the majority of the supporters have expressed plenty of anger towards the defender.
The Hoops looked set to book their place in the next round with ease as James Forrest gave the home side a 2-0 lead inside the first 10 minutes against their Scottish Premiership rivals.

However, the next goal came for the visitors, largely thanks to Simunovic. The Bosnian’s back pass was not strong enough to reach Dorus De Vries, and that allowed Kris Doolan to halve the deficit by lifting the ball over the veteran goalkeeper.
Forrest would complete his hat-trick nine minutes into the second-half to seemingly put the game beyond doubt. But there was to be a late scare, and once again, Simunovic was set to come in for criticism.

The centre-back seemed to put up a poor fight during a battle with Conor Sammon before the striker found the back of the net with six minutes remaining. Luckily for the Hoops, Brendan Rodgers’ men held on to secure the win.
Simunovic’s display was slammed by the supporters after the game. His form has been called into question on a few occasions this season, and his latest performance has left a number of fans worried with a Europa League tie with Zenit just around the corner and a number of injuries within the squad.
Here is what some of the Celtic fans made of his performance…
