Anthony Ralston was handed a rare start as Celtic concluded their Scottish Premiership season with a final win.

A number of Celtic fans have insisted that they have no interest in seeing Anthony Ralston get another chance at right-back after his performance on the final day of the Scottish Premiership season.
Neil Lennon’s men concluded their top flight campaign with a 2-1 victory against Hearts. With a Scottish Cup final ahead next weekend, the Hoops made a number of changes – and Ralston was one of those brought into the side.
The 20-year-old was making his first league start since December, and his rustiness appeared to show as he struggled to impress on what could have been a real opportunity to stake a claim for a place in the Scottish Cup final squad.
He struggled to keep the ball and was booked during the second-half for a poor challenge on the edge of the box. His crossing also saw the full-back come in for a lot of criticism on a day where the likes of Mikey Johnston and Karamoko Dembele really took their opportunities to impress.

And following the win, some supporters have taken to social media to suggest that they do not want to see Ralston get another chance anytime soon.
Signing a new right-back already looks set to be an important priority for the Bhoys this summer with Mikael Lustig struggling for much of the season. And with some of the fans seemingly unsure whether Ralston will ever be good enough to be a first-team regular, it appears to be all the more important that Celtic strengthen in that area of the pitch when the transfer window opens.
