The Hoops winger divides opinion amongst the Parkhead faithful but his moment of magic at Lennoxtown was undoubtedly impressive.

Celtic Player Scott Sinclair walks onto the Hampden pitch before their Cup Final at Hampden Park on November 26, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Celtic have shared a video on Twitter in which Scott Sinclair produces a moment of magic during pre-season training and some Hoops fans have taken to the social media platform to give their thoughts.

The 30-year-old winger got the better of three players before rounding the goalkeeper and neatly slotting the ball into the net first time, testament to the player’s undoubtable talent and hopefully a sign of things to come for next season.

Sinclair has endured a mixed spell at Parkhead since his switch from Aston Villa for £3million in the summer of 2016 (as was reported by The Guardian), winning the PFA Scotland Player of the Year in his first season (BBC Sport).

He was also voted the Hoops’ Player of the Year by both teammates and fans that season, but since then he has struggled to recapture that form, though the club nonetheless triggered a one-year extension in his contract in May (Neil Lennon as quoted by Celtic’s Twitter account).

Here is what some Bhoys said on Twitter about Sinclair’s piece of skill:

Neil Lennon will certainly be hoping Sinclair – as with all the players – is back firing on all cylinders as Celtic gear up for a busy pre-season ahead of the return to competitive action in July, with Champions League qualifying matches on the horizon.
