Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Scott Bain agreeing a four-year contract with the club.

Bain joined Celtic on loan from Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee in the January transfer window.

As announced on the Glasgow giants’ official website on Thursday evening, the goalkeeper has agreed on a four-year contract and has been snapped up on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has taken to Twitter to express his delight at signing a new contract with Celtic, with the Hoops’ fans responding to his message on the social networking site.

Scott Bain of Celtic arrives at the stadium prior to the Scottish Premier League match between Celtic and Rangers at Celtic Park on April 29, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Bain has done well during his time at Celtic so far, and it makes sense for Brendan Rodgers’s side to hand him a new deal.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper did well when first-choice custodian Craig Gordon was out injured and played well against Old Firm rivals Rangers.

It will be an interesting battle between Bain and Gordon for the Celtic number one spot next season, and one that manager Rodgers will surely relish and encourage.
