Erik Sviatchenko left Celtic this past summer but some fans of the Parkhead side want him back.

Jack Hendry’s disappointing start to the season continued on Thursday in Celtic’s 3-1 Europa League defeat.
Brendan Rodgers’s side lost to Salzburg in Austria, despite taking a second-minute lead through Odsonne Edouard.
Hendry, a £1.5 million signing by Celtic in January, seems to really be struggling in his first full season at Parkhead.
Rodgers allowed Erik Sviatchenko to leave for Midtjylland this past summer, having loaned him to the Danish side back in January.
At the moment it certainly seems as if the Hoops would’ve been better off with the Denmark international rather than the former Dundee man.
And quite a few Celtic supporters on Twitter have been tweeting Sviatchenko and asking him to return.
The 26-year-old was by no means the perfect centre-back, but it’s not even a debate that he’s a stronger defender than Hendry – and definitely Marvin Compper, whose arrival contributed to Rodgers deciding to let go of Sviatchenko.
That being said, it must be remembered that Hendry is still only 23. He will certainly improve. Question is, is his depleted confidence going to stifle his development?
