Celtic fans have responded to Andrew Gutman’s post on Twitter following his move to the Glasgow giants.

As announced on Celtic’s official Twitter page, the Hoops secured the services of Gutman on January transfer deadline day.

The Glasgow giants have announced on their official website that the 22-year-old defender will be sent back to the USA on loan.

The American youngster earned a move to Celtic after impressing in trials, and fans of the Scottish Premiership club have welcomed him.

Long-term signing

Gutman is a very good and talented young defender, and it is clear that Celtic have signed him for the long term.

A loan move back in the USA is going to be good for the 22-year-old, who can then return to Celtic in the summer of 2019 and start working wit the first team under manager Brendan Rodgers.

Celtic are going strong in the Scottish Premiership at the moment and will also feature in the round of 32 in the Europa League.
