Celtic fans have criticised the club’s forward compared to last season.

Celtic announced on their official Twitter account that Scott Sinclair had held aloft the top goalscorer’s award at the club’s presentation evening on Sunday evening – but fans believe the award shows just how bad the Hoops have been.
The 29-year-old has scored 17 goals in all competitions this season, but only two strikes have come since the turn of the year. However, the former Manchester City ace remains ahead of Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele.
Sinclair starred last season after moving north of the border from Aston Villa, with 25 goals and 11 assists. He earned the club’s Player of the Year award, as well as being the Hoops’ top scorer.
But this season, despite boasting impressive stats of 17 goals and 17 assists, Sinclair has struggled to hold down a regular place in the side. Competition from Charly Musonda, Patrick Roberts and James Forrest has limited him to 22 league starts.
He was honoured at the awards do, with the title given to Sinclair despite there being four more Scottish Premiership fixtures still to play.
But Hoops fans believe that Sinclair’s award shows just how poor Celtic have been in the final third compared to last season, as they went unbeaten to hold aloft an immaculate treble.
One fan described Sinclair as an “imposter”, while another highlighted the fact that Sinclair has not scored since January.
