The Hoops have found out who they’ll face in the first qualifying round of the competition.

Celtic have been drawn against FK Sarajevo of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first round of Champions League qualifying (official club website) and some Hoops fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the draw.
Neil Lennon’s charges will play a side managed by Husref Musemic, who used to play for Hearts, in the first qualifying round of the illustrious competition as they seek to reach the group stages for a third time in four years.
The first leg against Sarajevo, who won their domestic league and cup double last season, is scheduled for Tuesday/Wednesday, July 9/10, with the return leg a week later on Tuesday/Wednesday, July 16/17.

Should Celtic fail to get past Sarajevo, they will receive a bye in Europa League second-round qualifying and drop into the third round due to an odd number of teams entering the lesser competition’s champions’ path, as reported by BBC Sport.
The Parkhead side missed out on a place in last year’s Champions League group stage after being eliminated at the third qualifying round by Greek side AEK Athens, although they did progress to the last 32 of the Europa League.
