Tottenham Hotspur star Victor Wanyama recently spoke about his desire to return to Celtic in the future.

Tottenham Hotspur star Victor Wanyama was a huge success during his time at Celtic.
Wanyama joined Scottish giants Celtic from Belgian club Germinal Beerschot in the summer of 2011 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £900,000.
During his two seasons at Celtic Park, the defensive midfielder won the league title twice and the Scottish Cup once.
The 26-year-old’s impressive performances saw him earn a move to Southampton in the Premier League in the summer of 2013.
Wanyama played well for the Saints and joined Tottenham in the summer of 2016.

The Kenya international defensive midfielder has established himself as a key figure at Spurs and is one of the first names on the team sheet when he is fit.
The 26-year-old recently admitted that he would love to return to Celtic in the future, telling Celticquicknews.co.uk when asked if he will ever return to play for the Hoops: “Yes!! Why not? I’ve still got a lot of love for the club and I still follow the club, so who knows I might be back at the club in the future.”
Of course, it is unlikely that Wanyama will go back to Celtic anytime soon. After all, his best years are ahead of him, and he is playing for a Spurs team that could win major honours in the coming years.
(Most) Celtic fans seem to be open to the idea of the Kenyan playing for the Hoops again.
