Tom Rogic’s Celtic future looks in doubt after snubbing a contract offer.

Celtic fans aren’t happy about the prospect of losing midfielder Tom Rogic.
According to a report from Australian outlet The World Game, the 25-year-old was “unimpressed” by the Hoops’ latest contract offer in a development which has put his Parkhead future in doubt.

The Australia international is out of contract at Celtic in 2019 and failing to tie him down to an extension could see manager Brendan Rodgers offload him this summer, to avoid losing him on a free a year later.
Rogic is a popular figure at Parkhead and reached double figures in terms of goals last term, and fans of the Glasgow club don’t seem chuffed about the idea of seeing him leave.

Losing Rogic would be a big blow, but Rodgers already has a host of central midfielders at his disposal.
The Northern Irishman has Nir Bitton, Scott Brown, Eboue Kouassi, Olivier Ntcham, Stuart Armstrong and now January signing Charly Musonda who can all play in the middle of the park, so perhaps recruiting the latter was done in the knowledge that Rogic might not sign an extension.
The former Central Coast Marriners man has started only nine Premiership games in what has been an injury-hit season for him so far.
