Former Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong saw his Southampton side lose 9-0 to Leicester City on Friday.

Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Stuart Armstrong suffering a humiliating defeat for Southampton against Leicester City.
Southampton suffered an embarrassing 9-0 loss at the hands of Leicester at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League on Friday evening.
Ayoze Perez scored a hat-trick for the Foxes, and so did Jamie Vardy, while Ben Chilwell, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison also etched their names on the scoresheet.
Armstrong did not start the match for the Saints, but the former Celtic midfielder came on as a substitute in the 70th minute.
According to WhoScored, the 27-year-old Scotland international had a pass accuracy of 88.9%, took 16 touches, and made one interception.
The former Dundee United star was on the books of Celtic from February 2015 until the summer of 2018 when he moved to Premier League club Southampton for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £7 million.
Armstrong has struggled to make a huge impact at the Saints, and although he has had injury issues, when he has played, he has not been exactly great.
According to WhoScored, the Scotsman made 16 starts and 13 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Southampton last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the process.
So far this season, the 27-year-old has made seven substitute appearances in the league for the Saints, according to WhoScored
