Reported Celtic summer target Scott McKenna played for Aberdeen against Rangers on Sunday.

Some Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna against Rangers.
McKenna featured for Aberdeen in their Scottish League Cup semi-final tie against Rangers on Sunday evening.
The 21-year-old defender played well throughout the 90 minutes against Steven Gerrard’s team, as Derek McInnes’s side won the tie 1-0.
Although the Scotland international struggled against Rangers winger Daniel Candeias early on and was also booked for a challenge on Gers defender Connor Goldson, the youngster was strong at the back – especially in the second half – and showed good positional sense, as Aberdeen kept the Rangers attackers at bay and progressed to the final of the Scottish League Cup, where they will face Celtic.
Some Celtic fans, though, were not impressed with the performance of McKenna, who was linked with a move to Brendan Rodgers’s side in the summer transfer window.
Back in August 2018, BBC Sport reported that Celtic were interested in securing the services of the 21-year-old Scotland international.
