Christie was in action for Celtic in their Scottish Premiership match against Kilmarnock away from home at Rugby Park on Sunday afternoon.
The 23-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Brendan Rodgers’s side lost 2-1.
Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Christie – who moved to the Hoops from Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the summer of 2015 and earns £4000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star.
