The teenage left-back in expected to be out until the end of the year.

Celtic have been dealt a big blow to their Scottish Premiership title chase and their European aspirations with the news that Kieran Tierney is expected to be out for two months, as reported via BBC Sport.
Tierney suffered ankle ligament damage during training and will now miss a host of crucial fixtures including the Scottish League Cup final and the rest of the Bhoys’ Champions League group stage campaign.
However, it is hoped that he 19-year-old will be fit to return for the Hoops’ short hop across Glasgow to face Old Firm rivals Rangers at Ibrox on New Year’s Eve.

Tierney has been an indispensable part of the Celtic team since displacing the experienced Emilio Izaguirre partway through last season, and has made 52 appearances for the club in all competitions since the start of last season.
His absence will undoubtedly be a huge blow, and for many Celtic fans on Twitter, news of Tierney’s extended absence may just as well have been the arrival of the end of days.
However, other supporters managed to find a reason to be positive.
Tierney’s absence is almost certain to see the return of Izaguirre, a player who is still a hugely popular figure amongst most sections of the Parkhead faithful.
He was welcomed back with open arms by Bhoys fans, who seem confident that the 30-year-old Honduran can be an able deputy.
