Celtic are reportedly interested in signing Oliver Burke on loan from West Bromwich Albion during the January transfer window.

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the reports emerging from the Daily Record which have suggested that the Hoops are considering making a loan move for Oliver Burke.
Brendan Rodgers’ men appear to be facing a crucial window. Rangers sent the Bhoys a warning during the most recent Old Firm game, and Rodgers will be hoping that the board back him in the market after a quiet summer.
And one of the players that he is apparently keen on signing is Burke. The Daily Record reports that the Hoops are interested in taking the £15 million winger on loan for the rest of the season with West Brom making the youngster available.
Burke has endured a difficult time with the Baggies, having not started a single Championship game this season. But he has previously shown that he does have serious potential if he can get back on track.

However, plenty of Celtic supporters on social media clearly do not want to see the club make a move for Burke. Some are not convinced that he is good enough to improve their side, especially when James Forrest has been so exceptional this term.
Meanwhile, others are not happy that the Hoops are seemingly looking at loan deals rather than spending money on signing players permanently. So Burke would certainly have plenty to prove if he did end up joining the Scottish Premiership champions during the coming weeks.
