A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the reports emerging from TEAMtalk over the weekend suggesting that the Hoops have joined the race to sign Jordan Jones this summer.

Brendan Rodgers has endured a frustrating window thus far. Daniel Arzani is the one signing that Celtic have not previously had on their books, and he is yet to feature for the first-team as he builds his fitness up.

Hoops fans will be hoping for a very busy week, and it appears that one of the players that Rodgers has his eye on is Jones, with TEAMtalk reporting that the Bhoys are planning to rival Rangers for his signature.

Jones is an extremely exciting talent, having been hugely impressive at times for Kilmarnock over the last year. And it appears that Rodgers may be considering a potential move for the Northern Ireland international.

However, it seems that the 23-year-old would have plenty of work to do if he did arrive at Parkhead, as many of the Celtic fans on social media are not excited by the links at all.

The Hoops have plenty of options in wide and attacking areas, and some of the supporters are not particularly convinced that Jones’ possible arrival would strengthen their ranks further and feel that he would prove to be an underwhelming signing for the club.
