Glasgow Rangers defender Bruno Alves could leave the Ibrox club in January. Celtic fans react to the report on Twitter.

The Portugal international, signed by ex-manager Pedro Caixinha, joined the Ibrox club in the summer. The 36-year-old was brought with the intention of bringing leadership to the side, and acting as a mentor for the young players.

However, Alves has fallen out of favour under Graeme Murty, and could leave the Gers this month. He was last seen limping out of Rangers’ 0-0 draw against Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, and it could be his last appearance for the Glasgow club.
According to reports from Sky Italia, Rangers are in talks with Serie A strugglers Benevento, with reports emerging that a deal has been in place already, and only personal terms are left to be agreed.

The news has sparked a reaction among Rangers’ arch-rivals Celtic, and the Bhoys fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to share their opinion on the report.
