Lee Congerton might be leaving Celtic it seems – and fans of the Parkhead club couldn’t care less.

The Scottish Sun reported on Tuesday that Congerton, Celtic’s head scout, is wanted by Anderlecht.

Frank Arnesen is expected to become the Belgian club’s technical director and he seemingly wants the Hoops man to be apart of his team.

Congerton isn’t the most possible behind-the-scenes figure at Paradise after a number of questionable signings arrived through the door in recent transfer windows.

And here is how Celtic supporters reacted to the prospect of him leaving.

To be blunt, some of the players Celtic have signed under Congerton have been nothing short of dreadful.

Some have been young players with the potential to be big stars, like Lewis Morgan and Kundai Benyu, while others such as Marvin Compper and Jack Hendry were just nowhere near good enough in the first place it seems.

The Welshman joined Celtic back in March 2017.
