Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers released ex-Celtic trainee Liam Burt last month.

Celtic are being linked with a move for Liam Burt after being released by Rangers.
According to The Scottish Sun, the 20-year-old is training at Lennoxtown after Burt posted a photo on his Instagram of being at the Hoops’ complex on Friday.
The young midfielder, who joined Rangers in 2014 from Celtic, was only released by the Gers in May after failing to earn an extension at Auchenhowie.
The Scottish Sun claimed in 2015 that the Bhoys wanted to bring him back to the green half of the Old Firm divide, but the light Blues, then managed by Mark Warburton, wound up signing him up to a new deal.
But it looks like Celtic may finally have a chance to get him back and here’s how some fans of the Parkhead club reacted to that scenario:
Burt may just be back at Celtic to keep himself fit to maximise his chances of being signed by somebody else, but it does seem interesting that he’s allowed to train there, in light of reports that Scottish Premiership champions wanted him back four years ago.
Still, Rangers fans won’t be hugely upset if he re-signs for their bitter Glasgow rivals. Well, it won’t sit right with them, but it wasn’t like Burt – who managed only three Premiership appeearances with the Bears – was a massive player at Ibrox.
