Celtic fans have had enough of Oliver Burke up front.

Celtic made the strange decision against St Mirren to line up with winger Oliver Burke up front and striker Timothy Weah on the wing.

While Weah managed to score the opener, Burke looked lost once again leading the line.

Former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers began the experiment with the on loan West Brom player, and Neil Lennon has continued it.

Celtic had left Old Firm derby goalscorer Odsonne Edouard on the bench and Burke’s performance up top was incomparable.

Burke struggled to control the ball and play in his teammates and Celtic were worse off for having him up front.

Despite his struggle, manager Neil Lennon was reluctant to change it.

Celtic have other options so it is odd that there is so much persistence with Burke in this role.

Fans are keen for the experiment to be abandoned.
