Celtic earned a 3-1 win over Hamilton on Wednesday night.
Celtic fans watched their side stroll past Scottish Premiership opponents Hamilton on Wednesday evening despite making three changes and fielding an altered formation – and fans are delighted with the performance of Nir Bitton.
The 26-year-old was one of three players to start that lined-up as substitutes during Sunday’s draw against Hibernian, partnering Dedryck Boyata and Kristoffer Ajer in defence, the latter being another chance. Stuart Armstrong also came in.
Goals from Olivier Ntcham, James Forrest and Scott Sinclair earned a comfortable win at Celtic Park, despite Hamilton’s Danny Richmond giving Martin Canning’s side hope with an equaliser in the 29th minute.

Bitton looked calm and composed at the back despite the Israel international continuing to play out of position at centre-back, deeper than his preferred, more natural role in central midfield.
Celtic’s three centre-backs connected well and helped keep Hamilton strikers Rakish Bingham and Redmond largely quiet other than the latter’s goal, with the Accies limited to just two shots on target.
Celtic fans reacted on Twitter to their number six’s performance, with one fan stating he enjoyed the former FC Ashdod ace’s display that he would “be in my team every week”.
