It looks like Ryan Christie might be about to get himself a new deal at Celtic.

According to the father of Ryan Christie, the Celtic star is finally about to get a big reward for his form this season.
The 23-year-old’s dad claimed to The Scottish Sun this week that Celtic are set to offer his son a new long-term contract, after impressing in Brendan Rodgers’s first team this season.
Christie, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Aberdeen, has scored in each of the Hoops’ last three games in all competitions, and has two goals in three Premiership starts under Rodgers.
It has taken a while, but it looks like Christie – out of contract next summer – is finally fulfilling his potential with the Bhoys, and here is how some fans of the Parkhead club reacted to his potential extension.
It would be great to see Christie become a big player under Rodgers. He has been likened to Stuart Armstrong in recent weeks and although he isn’t at that level yet, he’s still only 23.
Armstrong, now at Southampton in the Premier League, is 26 and wasn’t much better than Christie at the same age, so the Scottish Premiership side could yet have another class asset on their hands.
