Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have been linked with Neven Subotic of Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window.

Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic.
According to German news outlet Fussballeck, Celtic are interested in signing the 29-year-old central defender in the January transfer window.
French club Saint-Etienne are also claimed to be interested in the Dortmund star, who has been on the books of the German club since 2008.

The Serbian centre-back has struggled to play regularly for Dortmund in recent seasons and has had injury issues, but there is no doubt that he has quality in abundance.
Subotic was a key player in Dortmund winning the Bundesliga title under Jurgen Klopp – now the manager of Liverpool – in 2011 and 2012 – and has also been a success in the Champions League.
The Hoops could do with another centre-back, and signing a player of Subotic’s experience and quality is only going to make Brendan Rodgers’s side better.
Celtic fans are excited at the prospect of the Glasgow giants signing the defender this month.
