Moussa Dembele has had a mixed time of it since leaving Celtic for Lyon.
Last night he was omitted from the squad entirely as Lyon took on Manchester City in the Champions League.
It came in the same day as a report from Goal which lamented Dembele failing to fit into Lyon’s system.
The report stated he is struggling to express himself in Lyon’s side.
Dembele forced through an exit from Celtic on deadline day as he was desperate for a fresh start.
So far the 22-year-old has scored three times in nine Ligue 1 games, but he has only been selected to start one of five Champions League matches.
Dembele was Celtic’s top scorer in his two seasons at the club and became a fan favourite, before souring memories of his time at the club with the way he left.
