Elyounoussi, signed on loan from Premier League club Southampton in the summer transfer window, was in action for Celtic in their Scottish Premiership game against St. Mirren at Celtic Park on Wednesday evening.
The 25-year-old, who can also operate as a forward, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Hoops won 2-0.
The Norway international scored the opening goal of the match in the 49th minute and had a very good game overall.
According to WhoScored, the former Molde and Basel star – who earns £60,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has scored four goals in five Scottish Premiership matches and one goal in three Europa League games for Neil Lennon’s side so far this campaign.
