The Celtic defender will be at the World Cup this summer after Sweden overcame Italy.

Celtic defender Mikael Lustig had a night to remember this week, when he helped Sweden reach the World Cup at the expense of a heartbroken Italy team.
A 0-0 draw in the second leg of their winner-takes-all play-off ensured Sweden won the tie 1-0 on aggregate and Lustig could not contain his excitement after the final whistle.

The right-back has already racked up 22 appearances for Celtic this season but doubts remain over his long-term future, with his current Bhoys contract expiring in 2019.
At 30, Lustig will know he may have one last big deal left in his career and Celtic will be hoping he remains at the club until he gets close to hanging up his boots.

They can now look forward to watching him in Russia next summer, after Sweden joined the illustrious names to qualify for the major tournament.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers will no doubt be hoping that Lustig brings the feel-good factor back to Scotland as the Bhoys bid to maintain their impressive start to the campaign.
