Celtic’s Kieran Tierney is surely worth a lot more than £10 million.

The Sportsman reported this week that Manchester United are “confident” of signing Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney – for around £10 million.
The 20-year-old is one of Europe’s most exciting young defenders and is regularly linked with a move away from Parkhead.
The likes of United and Tottenham Hotspur are regularly linked but the price-tag has never been as low as £10 million.
According to The Scotsman, that is the figure that the Red Devils hope will tempt Celtic into a sale.

But fans of the Scottish Premiership giants have absolutely rubbished the suggestion that he will leave for such a little amount.
To be fair, Celtic fans are probably right. It does seem extraordinarily unlikely that Tierney, a player contracted to the Hoops until 2023, will leave Brendan Rodgers’s side for £10 million.
In this day and age, that isn’t a lot of money, even for Celtic, and the Premier League giants will likely have to raise their asking price considerably if that report is true.
