Celtic could reportedly receive a £5 million bid for Jozo Simunovic.

According to The Daily Mail, Celtic are bracing themselves for a £5 million bid from Lille for centre-back Jozo Simunovic.
The former Dinamo Zagreb stalwart is regularly linked with a move away from Parkhead.
However, it could finally materialise this summer following a sluggish second half to the 2017-18 campaign, in which Simunovic was dropped by Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers.

Nevertheless, the Ligue 1 side are interested in signing the 23-year-old according to The Daily Mail, which states that coach Christophe Galtier wants him involved in the post-Marcelo Bielsa era.

Simunovic’s stock among Celtic fans is not what it once was, and here is how some supporters of the Glasgow giants reacted to the speculation about the big defender.
Despite a loss of form last season, Simunovic remains a very capable defender and although he can be a bit of a bomb scare – particularly in Europe – perhaps Rodgers is better off keeping hold of him.
