The lesser-spotted Celtic winger was back in action on Wednesday.

Celtic fans are reacting on Twitter to Johnny Hayes’ latest Bhoys showing.
Hayes was brought in from the cold to face Motherwell on Wednesday night, for what was only his fourth appearance all season and first since August.
But the former Aberdeen winger, for whom Celtic paid around £1.3 million during last summer’s transfer window, was unable to seize his opportunity, despite lasting 81 minutes at Fir Park.
And this is what those of a Bhoys persuasion are saying…
Not everyone was feeling quite so critical, mind…
The Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers, left out a number of key players following Sunday’s League Cup win against Aberdeen, with James Forrest, Tom Rogic, Scott Sinclair and Odsonne Edouard each dropped to the bench.
And those who did play could only conjure up a 1-1 draw against the Well, whose 88th-minute Danny Johnson equaliser cancelled out Ryan Christie’s early opener.

The result saw Celtic draw level on points with rivals Rangers, on whom they have a game in hand.
But Kilmarnock, who have played twice more than Celtic, were the evening’s biggest winners, leapfrogging the Old Firm pair into first place.
