Celtic’s James Forrest reached double figures for the first time on Saturday.

Quite a few Celtic players have improved a lot under Brendan Rodgers and it seems like James Forrest is following suit.
The 26-year-old attacker scored twice in Saturday’s 5-1 demolition of Motherwell at Parkhead to reach the 10-goal mark this season.

By virtue of the fact that his previous best in a full season was nine, it’s safe to say that Forrest is coming on leaps and bounds under the Northern Irishman.
With Patrick Roberts potentially out for up to three months, having a player of Forrest’s talents is a huge plus and Celtic fans took a moment to pay tribute to him on Twitter after reaching the milestone.

Forrest did not even start Saturday’s win over the Steelmen, replacing Jonny Hayes on 68 minutes.
Hayes had perhaps his best game in a Celtic shirt yesterday following a £1.3 million move from Aberdeen, but Forrest’s cameo demonstrates how he is undoubtedly the man to replace Roberts in Rodgers’ best XI.
