The Hoops ace had a mediocre game by his standards as the Parkhead side relinquished their 100 percent record this season.

A number of Celtic fans have been commenting on Twitter regarding the Hoops’ performance in the 1-1 Scottish Premiership draw with Hibernian and James Forrest was one of the Bhoys players who came under scrutiny for his display.
The 28-year-old, normally impressive for the Hoops, had a mediocre game by his standards overall, beginning brightly enough but, as the game went on, found it hard to break down the Hibs defence, much like the rest of the front line.
In addition, the £4.5million-valued winger (Transfermarkt) seemed to take too many touches of the ball at times, spurning potentially good opportunities to have a go at goal, and when he was replaced by Scott Sinclair on 84 minutes, several supporters deemed it “too late”.
Here is what was said on social media during and after the game regarding Forrest’s display at Easter Road:
Celtic went behind early on in the game when a Christian Doidge shot was deflected by Kristoffer Ajer past Fraser Forster after only eight minutes, but the Hoops equalised in the 24th minute when Moritz Bauer’s cross was headed home by Ryan Christie for his 11th goal of the season.
There were two controversial moments which Lennon claimed after the game that they should have yielded penalties – Christie being brought down in the box in the second half, before Bauer was up-ended by Daryl Horgan at the byline as the Bhoys pressed for a winner (The Scotsman).
