Celtic recorded all three points on the final day of the Scottish Premiership season.
Celtic fans on Twitter were baffled by the Hearts players not clapping whilst they were giving the Scottish Premiership champions a Guard of honour on Sunday.
Prior to the final game of the regular season, Craig Levein’s side gave the home team a Guard of honour as they walked out of the tunnel, but the away players didn’t clap the home team.
It was a very monotone acknowledgement by Hearts, who ended up losing the encounter 2-1 on the day, with both managers fielding a number of youngsters.
Nonetheless, a lot has been made of ‘Guard of honours’ or whether Champions of a country should be respected in any way shape or form by their rivals.
Either way, whenever it is mentioned, it does divide opinion and cause huge debates, especially when the teams in question are bitter rivals.

One thing is for sure, Hearts won’t be giving Celtic a Guard of honour this Saturday when both teams meet for the final showdown of the season.
